Introduction

Like anybody that has ever picked up a mouse and tapped on a keyboard, I have my likes and dislikes when it comes to software. I like simple interfaces. I like unpretentious presentation. Don't flash your logo at me, buster! Might find it where the sun don't ever shine...

Anyway! I have had the pleasure (and aggravation) of using a fair amount of software in my journey to becoming a true-blue geek. If you are considering turning toward the dark side (One...of..us...One..of..us...), check out my recommendations below. I have put together a page of my favorite operating systems, and a page of the tools I either currently use, or have used in the past.
